Child Outreach Ministry began in 2017 from a mission trip to Lira, Uganda in December, 2016 to do ministry projects with Child Rescue Ministry, a government registered non profit organization in Uganda. A special love and partnership was formed out of that trip.
Donations are greatly appreciated and are helpful whether they are a one time gift or a monthly commitment. Some of the areas we support are:
1. Bibles $10 each - need is for 2000 of them a year in Lango.
2. Child Sponsorship - $50 a month - helps with school fees, books, uniform, food and other supplies needed.
3. Completion of Nutrition Center
4. Medical needs for children
5.Special Projects and training
We welcome anyone who has a desire, to join us on one of our yearly mission group trips to Lira, Uganda. The link above will take you to some detailed information.
Maybe you can't go but want to be involved. There are many ways we need help. If you like to sew we always have needs for clothes and baby blankets. Or maybe you would like to help us in another area. Contact us and we can discuss ways to be involved.
Child Outreach Ministry in Alabama has partnered with Child Rescue Ministry in Uganda. The mission is:
1. Childcare - this includes medical and nutrition care to help prevent malnutrition. Sponsorship is usually 6 months - a year until the child is out of danger.
2. Education Sponsorship - so many don't have hope of a better future with no education
3. Community Discipleship - this is what is changing communities as we get the word of God out to places that have not heard.
